The Archbishop McNicholas Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight defeat. They fell 57-45 to Badin. Archbishop McNicholas was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Badin apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Rockets players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Ehlers, who scored 11 points along with five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Tucker, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Archbishop McNicholas has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Badin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-9.
Archbishop McNicholas will head out on the road to square off against Roger Bacon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Archbishop McNicholas is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank in Ohio (they are ranked 125th, while Roger Bacon is ranked 541st). As for Badin, they will be playing at home against Talawanda at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
