Hidden Valley's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Blacksburg 19-0. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hidden Valley got a massive performance out of RILEY EADES, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave EADES a new career-high. BAILEY HALL was another key player, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Hidden Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 4-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Cave Spring suffered their biggest defeat since April 5, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against Franklin County, falling 13-4.
Abigail Bradberry made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Hidden Valley's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Cave Spring, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
Hidden Valley's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Titans have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.7 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Cave Spring, though, as they've been averaging only 0.6 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Hidden Valley continue to outrun the ball?
Hidden Valley might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Cave Spring in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
