Christ School took care of business in their home opener on Thursday (barely). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Providence Day Chargers. Even though the Greenies got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Declan Szostczuk was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.

This is the second loss in a row for Providence Day and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Christ School will head out to challenge A.C. Reynolds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Providence Day, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Legion Collegiate Academy.
