The East Bay Indians's game last Monday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They snuck past Lennard with a 50-46 win. For East Bay, this counts as revenge for the 73-59 defeat Lennard walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.
Kamren Lovett was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Amare Baran, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Despite the loss, Lennard still got an impressive performance from Makai Hills, who scored 12 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hills has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Arcadian Davis, who scored four points along with 12 rebounds and three blocks.
East Bay pushed their record up to 8-10 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Lennard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Bay will take on Bloomingdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bloomingdale is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Lennard, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Armwood at 8:00 p.m.
