The Wabash Apaches pushed their score all the way to 58 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Manchester by a score of 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Wabash has suffered yet this season.
Bryleigh Boggs and Kierra Wilson certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Boggs dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds, while Wilson dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kiana Jones, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Wabash and nudges their season record down to 9-10. As for Manchester, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Wabash will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Lewis Cass at 7:30 p.m. As for Manchester, they will head out on the road to face off against Rochester at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Rochester focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Wednesday.
