The North Shore Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 74-72 victory over West Brook. The victory was nothing new for North Shore as they're now sitting on four straight.
It was another big night for Deandre Jones, who scored 25 points along with five steals. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Terrence ?Tj? Alford, who scored 16 points along with nine rebounds.
North Shore now has a winning record of 11-10. As for West Brook, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-7.
North Shore will head out on the road to face off against Humble at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Humble will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 568th, while North Shore is ranked 266th). As for West Brook, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Kingwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
