With a playoff game on the line, the Holliston Panthers rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 24-16 win over Ashland. Winning may never get old, but Holliston sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Several Clockers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cam Antoniuk, who rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Holliston has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Ashland, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holliston will play host again and welcome Scituate, where kickoff is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Scituate knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Holliston likes a good challenge. As for Ashland, they will be playing at home against Stoughton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
