The Thornton Trojans won the last time they faced the Lincoln Lancers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Thornton took down Lincoln 36-17. That 36-17 margin sets a new team best for Thornton this season.
Among those leading the charge was Julionna Sandoval, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Montelongo, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Thornton's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
