Among those leading the charge was Julionna Sandoval, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Camryn Montelongo, who scored seven points along with six rebounds and six steals.
Thornton's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
