While Doyline's victory against Mansfield wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-8 win over the Wolverines on Monday. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Doyline's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Mansfield, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Doyline will challenge Gibsland-Coleman at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mansfield, they will square off against Winnfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season.
