The LaFayette Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Beauregard, posting a 82-45 victory at home. LaFayette has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.
LaFayette's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Branaviyun Story led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaderrian Story, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds.
The win (which was LaFayette's eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.9 points per game. As for Beauregard, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
LaFayette and Wadley will face off at 4:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Beauregard, they will be playing at home against Tallassee at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tallassee has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 316 points over their last five matchups.
