Brayden Pedersen made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 17 over six innings pitched. Pedersen was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base. Pedersen is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.
In other batting news, First Christian got a massive performance out of Morgan Earnhart, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and four RBI. Mason Williams was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
First Christian's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Corinth Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Thursday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Corinth Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .505.
