The Westlake Chaparrals extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Lake Travis Cavaliers. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Cavaliers. Westlake's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Among those leading the charge was Jack Kayser, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns. He hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for six straight games.
Although Lake Travis took the loss, they still got scores from Kadyn Leon and Josiah Thomas.
Westlake's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-0. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 41.64 points. As for Lake Travis, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-3.
Westlake will square off against North Shore at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Shore has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 644 points over their last 14 matches. Lake Travis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
