This season hasn't been kind to the Dunedin Falcons, who are still winless after their 14th contest. They suffered a rough 78-57 loss at the hands of Tarpon Springs on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Dunedin has lost by exactly 21 points.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aidan Laird, who scored 14 points. Another player making a difference was Keegan Paolillo, who scored 11 points.
Tarpon Springs' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Xavier Segobin led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Segobin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Geramyah Porter, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 assists.
Dunedin's loss was their 12th straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-14. As for Tarpon Springs, their victory bumped their record up to 4-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunedin will take on Hudson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hudson is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak. As for Tarpon Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Osceola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
