It was a proper cat-fight when Kendrick challenged Lapwai on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 18-5 win. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by nine runs or more this season.
Xavier Carpenter was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-5 with two runs and two RBI.
