Football Game Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Centennial Bulldogs

Arbor View is 0-3 against Centennial since December of 2021 but things could change on Wednesday. The Arbor View Aggies will be playing at home against the Centennial Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Arbor View's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three contests.

Arbor View's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Amplus Academy, posting a 54-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Aggies, who have now won nine matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.

Arbor View found their leader in freshman Priscilla Garcia, who threw for 215 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of her passes. Garcia is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as she's now passed for three or more in the last four games she's played. Jayda Emil was another key player, picking up 38 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Arbor View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Kaylinn Foss led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by herself.

Meanwhile, Centennial faced Southeast Career Tech in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. Centennial fell 13-6 to Southeast Career Tech. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Arbor View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 15-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points per game. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-15.
