Hunter College's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Kay, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 17 rebounds. Jackson Cohen was another key contributor, scoring 25 points along with seven steals.
Hunter College's victory bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Environmental, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.
Hunter College will head out on the road to take on Laguardia at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hunter College knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Laguardia likes a good challenge. As for Environmental, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Art & Design at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Art & Design is coming into the game with six straight losses on the road, meaning Environmental will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
