They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Southern Christian Patriots 8-7. Seminole McShan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up seven earned runs off nine hits. McShan was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, Shelby Watts was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. Jaylen Watts was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
