  Zoey Landers made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Landers has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Landers was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Azlyn Sellers, who  went 3-for-3 with four  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run. Another player making a difference was  Grace Carpenter, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Destiny Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Southwest Christian Academy, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
 Destiny Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  5-4  victory vs. Union Christian Academy on the 22nd. Southwest Christian Academy has also already played their next matchup,  a  16-5  loss against Garrett Memorial Christian on the 22nd.
