The TEACH Homeschool Beach Breakers will venture away from home to challenge the Northeastern Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. TEACH Homeschool will be strutting in after a win while Northeastern will be coming in after a defeat.
TEACH Homeschool barely beat Norfolk Christian the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Beach Breakers were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Ambassadors on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor in this series.
Austin Brickhouse was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up three earned runs off eight hits. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because TEACH Homeschool is 3-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 1-6 otherwise. Brickhouse was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with one double and one RBI.

In other batting news, TEACH Homeschool got a big performance out of Bryce Flynn, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Those two runs gave Flynn a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Josiah Wellington, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Northeastern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Perquimans County, falling 16-6.
Peyton Paris was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.
TEACH Homeschool is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Northeastern, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
Everything went TEACH Homeschool's way against Northeastern when the teams last played back in March of 2025, as TEACH Homeschool made off with an 8-1 win. Will the Beach Breakers repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
