He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Mcdonald was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.
On Summertown's side, Jackson Bennett spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered one run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up ten Ks.
At the plate, Kane Konig was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.
Lewis County's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6. As for Summertown, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-15.
