After only one run in their last game, Latta made sure to put some runs up on the board against Carvers Bay on Friday. The Vikings blew past the Bears 13-3. Considering the Vikings have won three matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Latta is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.6 runs over those games. As for Carvers Bay, their record now sits at 2-10.
