Brandon fell victim to Sumner and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Stingrays. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Stingrays recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
King not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th. Everything went their way against Tampa Bay Tech as they made off with an 11-1 win. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Titans recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Jonathan Williams made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because King is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 8-11 otherwise. Williams was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
In other pitching news, Michael McQueen looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
