Even though Miami Beach scored an imposing 64 points on Tuesday, American still came out on top. American strolled past Miami Beach with points to spare, taking the game 80-64.
American's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Kennith Johnson, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Quentin Bush, who scored 24 points along with six assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bush has scored all season. Derrius Black was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, West Broward scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Coconut Creek 84-42 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win West Broward has posted yet this season.
American has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. As for West Broward, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
