Lake-Lehman has gone 8-2 against MMI Preparatory School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Knights will head out to take on MMI Preparatory School at 4:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lake-Lehman has four straight victories, MMI Preparatory School has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Lake-Lehman lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Holy Redeemer, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Knights blew past the Royals 12-1 on Friday. The Knights not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 7th (when they won 17-2).

Will Jenkins was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.
In other batting news, Justin Morris was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases and three runs. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Landon James, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Lake-Lehman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Holy Redeemer only posted an OBP of .304.
Meanwhile, MMI Preparatory School came up short against Wyoming Area on Tuesday, falling 14-4.
Andrew Pedri made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that he has hit this season.
MMI Preparatory School's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lake-Lehman, their record is now 11-5.
Lake-Lehman beat MMI Preparatory School 7-2 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
