Uxbridge's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Doherty Memorial on Friday. The Spartans blew past the Advanced Math & Science Academy Eagles 12-2. The Spartans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Uxbridge pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, they suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 6-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uxbridge will face off against Hopedale at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Paul at 3:45 p.m. on the 28th.
