Chestatee led AAAA Region 8 in scoring this week after putting up 36 points on Johnson.
The Knights made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,227 from 7,396. The advance stemmed from a 36-26 victory over Johnson last week.
Lanier's Taylor Grant and Marty Sanders have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Grant has thrown for 843 yards this season, while Sanders has 19 catches for 389 yards. Chaz Thornton from Stephens County leads the league in rushing with 791 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when the Indians take on Monroe Area. Stephens County's offense has recorded 202 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Hurricanes have permitted only 69 on the year.
