Lakeland is 1-9 against Post Falls since March of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hawks will host the Trojans at 3:00 p.m. Lakeland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.2 runs per game this season.

Post Falls not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 22nd (when they won 13-1). They put the hurt on Moscow with a sharp 13-3 win. The Trojans have beaten the Bears the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bears has come to flipping the script.
Rylan Morrison made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Summer Dan was a standout: she fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-4. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. McKenna Zimmerman was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Post Falls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Lakeland's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Post Falls, their victory bumped their record up to 4-8.
Post Falls' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Lakeland has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10 hits per game. It's a different story for Post Falls, though, as they've been averaging 9.7 hits. Given Lakeland's sizable advantage in that area, the Trojans will need to find a way to close that gap.
