Basketball Recap: FBCHA's Winning Streak Snapped at Eight Games

FBCHA dropped down to 8-3 on Friday, ending the team's eight-game streak of wins. They lost 64-41 to the Dallas HSAA Angels. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 181st, while the Angels are ranked 30th).

As for Dallas HSAA, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Dallas HSAA's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aria Jefferson, who shot 50% from the field on her way to 12 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Addie Seal, who almost dropped a double-double with nine rebounds and 12 assists.

FBCHA didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-44 loss against CHSA HomeSchool on the 9th. As for Dallas HSAA, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 45-19 victory against Austin Royals HomeSchool on the 9th.
