Teague got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Garrett Winkler out in front who threw for 174 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes. A healthy portion of Winkler's aerial production (140 yards to be exact) went to Bryce Bates.
Teague was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 210 rushing yards. They are a perfect 4-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, Diboll earned a 27-20 win over Crockett on Friday. The Lumberjacks haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Teague now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Diboll, their record now sits at 3-6.
Teague strolled past Diboll when the teams last played back in November of 2024 by a score of 36-21. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Lumberjacks' Jamauri Gallien, who rushed for 96 yards and one score on only 12 carries.
