After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sugar-Salem, The Teton Timberwolves were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 41-6 victory over Meeker. The result was nothing new for Teton, who have now won seven matchups by 23 points or more so far this season.
Teton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jack Nelson led the charge by throwing for 302 yards and four touchdowns while completing 93.8% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Thomas Heuseveldt was another key contributor, picking up 167 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Teton's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Meeker, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Teton will head out on the road to face off against Fruitland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meeker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
