Basketball Recap: Unity Christian Academy Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Unity Christian Academy had won two straight road games and Mason O'Neal did his part to make it three on Thursday. The Unity Christian Academy Phoenix took their matchup with ease, bagging a 96-40 victory over the Islamic Foundation Chargers thanks in part to O'Neal, who went 13 of 27 on his way to 31 points in addition to six steals and five assists. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Allen, who posted seven points and seven assists. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played.

Unity Christian Academy now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Islamic Foundation, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Unity Christian Academy will take on Grant Park in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Unity Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Grant Park likes a good challenge. As for Islamic Foundation, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 56-50 win against Universal on the 13th.
