On Friday Liberty Christian take on Mabton at Homecoming at 7:00 PM. Liberty Christian are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
After having lost a blowout in their game two weeks ago against Columbia, Liberty Christian were happy to find some success last Friday. Liberty Christian enjoyed a cozy 30-12 win over Dayton/Waitsburg. Senior Mason Knode, who snatched 2 receiving TDs and threw 2 TDs, was a major factor in Liberty Christian's success. Knode has now scored at least one touchdown in the past four games.
Meanwhile, Mabton were able to grind out a solid victory over White Swan last Friday, winning 21-8. The success made it back-to-back wins for Mabton.
Liberty Christian simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Mabton 52-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for Liberty Christian since the team won't have home-field advantage. Watch the game and check back on MaxPreps to see if the change in venue makes a difference.
