Ava Williamson made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Wilmington got a massive performance out of Avery Harlan, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. That's the most stolen bases Harlan has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Skylar Leishman, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.
