Crescent City had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 9-13  on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They put the hurt on the First Academy Eagles with a sharp  14-5 win. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won eight games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Caylee Goff made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and four unearned) runs off   five  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in February. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news,  Alyssa Allmon was  incredible,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with three  stolen bases, four  runs,  and one  RBI. That's the most  runs  she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  April Morales, who  went 2-for-5 with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run.
As for First Academy, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 12-9. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat they have suffered  since March 31st.
 On First Academy's side,  Avery Keller made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Hayleigh Collop, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent City will challenge Peniel Baptist Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
