Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Christian Brothers). They slipped by Bella Vista 50-49 last Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since September 20, 2024.
Rio Americano better keep an eye on Deakon Holden. He was instrumental in Christian Brothers' win, throwing for 305 yards and five touchdowns, while also rushing for 90 yards. Rio Americano didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Christian Brothers in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 7-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
