The Glenbrook Apaches will head out on the road to square off against the St. Frederick Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Glenbrook has struggled recently with 12 losses in a row, while St. Frederick will arrive with five straight wins.
Glenbrook suffered their biggest loss since December 7, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 77-20 defeat at the hands of Ringgold. While losing is never fun, Glenbrook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 386th, while Ringgold is ranked 71st).
Meanwhile, St. Frederick strolled past Beekman with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 61-43.
Glenbrook's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-11. As for St. Frederick, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
Everything went Glenbrook's way against St. Frederick in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as Glenbrook made off with a 112-88 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Glenbrook since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
