On Friday, The Quakertown Panthers got themselves on the board against the Harry S. Truman Tigers, but the Harry S. Truman Tigers never followed suit. They claimed a resounding 49-0 win over the Tigers on the road. The result was nothing new for Quakertown, who have now won five games by 21 points or more so far this season.
Ed Bittner was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 81 yards and three touchdowns, and also caught a touchdown. Gavin Carroll was another key contributor, rushing for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Quakertown now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Harry S. Truman, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Quakertown will take on Upper Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Upper Dublin comes in on five and Quakertown on three. As for Harry S. Truman, they will be playing at home against Strath Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Strath Haven is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
