Ouachita Christian extended their postseason success on Friday against Covenant Christian Academy. They strolled past the Covenant Christian Academy Lions with  points to spare, taking the game  30-14. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played  back in November of 2014.
  Makin Lenard was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. That's the most  rushing yards  he has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was  Luke Vidrine, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown.
 Ouachita Christian was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 285  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.

 The  win (which was Ouachita Christian's third in a row) raised their record to 12-1. Those victories were due in large part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points per game. As for Covenant Christian Academy,  the  defeat snapped their winning streak at 11 games  and leaves them with a 11-1 record.
 Ouachita Christian will face off against Ascension Catholic at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  have allowed few  points on average, (Ouachita Christian: 11.5, Ascension Catholic: 12.3) so any  points scored will be well earned. Covenant Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
