Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy stacked a seventh blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They really took it to Manchester for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-14 victory on the road. Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy pushed the score to 38-7 by the end of the third, a deficit Manchester cut but never quite recovered from.
Logan Scranton got back to being his usual excellent self, as he rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry.
Meanwhile, Chardon entered their tilt with Riverside with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Chardon walked away with a 24-16 victory over Riverside on Friday.
Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.6 points per game. As for Chardon, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.
