The Bristol Warriors will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Jenkintown Drakes at 7:00 p.m.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-28, which was the final score in Bristol's tilt against King's Christian on Saturday. Bristol was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.
Meanwhile, Jenkintown got the win against Springfield Township on Saturday by a conclusive 69-49. With that win, Jenkintown brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.
Jenkintown had a senior duo take command as Tommy Walsh dropped a double-double on 24 points and 16 rebounds and Kareem Jackson went 8 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 2 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Walsh has scored at least 25% of Jenkintown's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Matty Ecker, who scored 5 points.
The wins kept both teams' perfect 1-1 season records intact.
