Sun Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Academy Park Knights at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Sun Valley has not done well against Great Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Sun Valley strolled past Great Valley with points to spare, taking the game 55-37. The victory was just what Sun Valley needed coming off of a 62-38 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Academy Park entered their tilt with Renaissance Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Academy Park came out on top against Renaissance Academy by a score of 61-54 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Academy Park has won by exactly seven points.
Sun Valley's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Academy Park, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
Everything went Sun Valley's way against Academy Park in their previous matchup back in January as Sun Valley made off with a 72-48 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sun Valley since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
