The Neighborhood House Charter Legends put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Cristo Rey 55-11 at home. Fans of Neighborhood House Charter have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Neighborhood House Charter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alicia Browder, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 20 rebounds. Browder also posted two+ blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Karin Richardson, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 assists.
Neighborhood House Charter pushed their record up to 8-0 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Cristo Rey, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Neighborhood House Charter will head out on the road to challenge Varsity Opponent at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cristo Rey, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Salem at 5:00 p.m.
