Considering Altamonte Christian has won five matches by more than 21 points this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Altamonte Christian found their leader in underclassman Alexis Hill, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. Hill set a new season high mark in blocks with three. Another player making a difference was Taneya Wright, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Calvary Chapel Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Ava Dorn and Abigail Cieslak. Dorn scored seven points, while Cieslak scored seven points. Dorn scored a full 31.8% of Calvary Chapel Academy's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Altamonte Christian's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Calvary Chapel Academy, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
