The IDEA Bluff Springs Bats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Grace Academy, falling 60-22. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points IDEA Bluff Springs has scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Grace Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Richmond McIver, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 16 rebounds. McIver set a new season high mark in steals with two. Samuel Moore was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds.
IDEA Bluff Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Grace Academy, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Cypress Christian the next time they take the court. Grace Academy will head out to face Cypress Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, while IDEA Bluff Springs will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
