Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Classical against Lincoln on Friday as the squad secured a 65-37 win. The Purple have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 28 points or more this season.
Barrington better keep an eye on Jordan Duke. He was instrumental in Classical's win, putting up 21 points. Another player making a difference was Eliezer Delbrey, who earned 13 points.
Classical is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Barrington, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Barrington and Classical are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Barrington hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 63.1 points per game. However, it's not like Classical struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62.7 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
