Adding to the longest winning streak in Valley - South this week, Oshkosh North beat Neenah 23-14. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Daulton Varsho made the biggest impact on defense this week as Marshfield fell to Menasha. The 5-foot-9 senior pulled down 1 interception.
Nate Neveau was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 113 yards on 11 carries as Oshkosh North fell to the Bluejays. Teammate Alex Hintze added to the ground attack by rushing for 52 yards.
5-foot-9 quarterback Neveau of Chris Kujawa's team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 614. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Allison. The Marshfield star has 20 catches for 464 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Stevens Point takes on Marshfield. The Panthers are currently in fourth, while Dennis Goettl's team is in third.
Menasha made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,859 from 2,242. The improvement was largely due to a 35-27 victory over the Tigers last week.
