Nunu Kennedy was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 208 yards and four scores while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 200 yards and a pair of TDs on only 17 passes. What's more, he racked up 25 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Alex Simmons, who gained 108 total yards.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Elysian Fields was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Despite the loss, Garrison still got an impressive performance from Avery Yarbrough, who rushed for 258 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.2 yards per carry. Yarbrough's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his ninth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards. Carter Crawford was in the mix too, providing Garrison with two TDs.
Elysian Fields' win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Garrison, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
