The Seminole Chieftains lost against the Ada Cougars back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Seminole took a 61-46 bruising from Ada. Seminole has struggled against Ada recently, as their match on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Ada was led to victory by Carter Colombe and Keith Cook. Colombe dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds, while Cook dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cook has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caron Richardson, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Seminole has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season. As for Ada, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-2.
Seminole will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Ada, they will take on Millwood at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
