The Cummings Cavaliers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They skirted past Seaforth 67-64. With that victory, Cummings brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cummings to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kobie Stadler, who scored 17 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Stadler scored 15 or more points. Ja'Kway Robertson was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
Cummings pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points per game. As for Seaforth, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
Cummings will head out on the road to face off against Williams at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Williams focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Tuesday. Seaforth will be home for the holidays to greet Chatham Central at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Chatham Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
