There's no place like home for the Midfield Patriots, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. Everything went their way against Tarrant on Tuesday as Midfield made off with a 76-51 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-13.
Leading Midfield to victory were Armonie Franklin and Aaron Adams-Martin. Franklin scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and five steals, while Adams-Martin dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Franklin hasn't dropped below 17 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Brandon Riddle, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Midfield has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-9 record this season. As for Tarrant, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.
Midfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Tarrant will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the Vikings at 6:30 p.m. Jasper presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Wildcats in Alabama (the Vikings are ranked 26th, while the Wildcats are ranked 253rd).
